Cruising Route 66 in Our 1965 Mustang
Day 2 on the Goodguy’s Tour started out with a drivers meeting then we hit the road heading south for New Mexico, then east to Amarillo, Texas, and the Mustang was running great after the tune from Josh of Goolsby Customs the night before.

Day 4 of the Goodguys Road Tour started off in Oklahoma City. It was a long day with over 500 miles to trek so they skipped the normal drivers’ meeting, and we were all free to leave on our own.

Here were are on day five of the Goodguys Hall of Fame Road Tour, with the finale beginning in Memphis, Tennessee with a driver’s meeting. All of the participants were sad and shocked that the trip had gone by so quickly-can we have three more days please?!

Day 2 of the Goodguys Hall of Fame Road Tour started out in Carson City, Nevada. During the night a few more cars joined the tour and after the drivers meeting we were off and headed to the Nevada Northern Railway Museum in Ely, NV.

Saturday morning the Goodguys Tour was greeted with a wet start in Wendover, NV. That wasn’t the last stop the road warriors though. We headed East for the first stop of the day at Miller Motorsports Park, home to the Larry H, Miller Total Performance Museum, officially the only museum Courtney has ever enjoyed visiting!

Since swapping from a six-cylinder to a 351 Windsor, Team Mustang Girls has gone through 3 sets of motor mounts in their 65 Mustang. Initially, some of the boys proposed that the car is out of tune, however, the shake is not the engine misfiring.

Team Mustang Girls is on the road again! This time they are headed to catch the Pony Drive in Nashville and will travel to Asheville before heading to Charlotte for the Mustang 50th Anniversary Celebration! The girls will be racing on the track Thursday, participating in the Friday night Cruise for the Wounded Warrior Project and hosting a Mustang Girl Meet Up on Saturday.

On Wednesday Team Mustang Girls woke up in Asheville, NC for the final leg of the Pony Drive to Charlotte for the 50th Anniversary. The weather was cold and the battery called it quits for good. After getting a jump the girls stopped at at the local parts house for a new one and then they were rolling again.
